Here is a New York Times article about a major web-based retailer. It has implications for all of us who are interested in preserving our future ability to buy from local merchants. And it's particularly alarming if we're not interested in seeing the publishing industry become an oligopoly (at best), or a monopoly (at worst). Very sobering . . .
